Our Welfare Benefits unit has 1 full-time caseworker supervisor and 2 part-time caseworkers and delivers advice at outreach venues across the borough.
Independent Advice Project – Homes for Islington
Islington Law Centre provides welfare benefits advice for all Islington council tenants and residents at three area housing offices – Upper Street, Lyon Street and Holland Walk.
Clients can book an appointment directly with their local area housing office or ask to be referred by their income recovery officer. Clients whose properties are managed by Partners for Improvement in Islington (Partners) can book an appointment with their income recovery officer or via their nearest area housing office. This service is funded by Homes for Islington.

Finsbury Park Advice Project
Islington Law Centre provides welfare benefits advice at three venues in the Finsbury Park area for all local residents.
