Volunteering at ILC

We offer placements to gain experience in a law centre environment for paralegal volunteers and reception and administration volunteers. To download information about each role please click on the links below:

Candidates are expected to be available for 2 days per week for a period of 6 months - though in some circumstances a shorter time commitment per week is negotiable. At the end of each 6 months we review the placement together with the volunteer to assess future needs and expectations.

Volunteers have regular meetings with the volunteer co-ordinator and / or a supervising caseworker to discuss work, progress and any other issues or support needs.
