The advice sessions will be run by the Islington Schools Advice Project. This is a brand new project funded by the Legal Services Commission (previously the Legal Aid Board). The aim is to make welfare rights and housing advice accessible to parents and carers at local schools.
Advice will be provided
by Islington Law Centre and Islington Peoples’ Rights two well established
local advice agencies with a proven track record of delivering high quality
advice for over 30 years. Both organisations are independent of Islington
Council and all advice given is impartial and confidential.
