WHAT DO WE DO?

Islington Law Centre provides free legal advice and assistance to people who live, work or study in the London Borough of Islington. We have a specific commitment to people on a low income and to assist in those areas of law where no Legal Help is available.

A community resource
The Law Centre is an important focus for community issues. Wherever possible we try to help groups in the area who need training, advice or campaign work around legal issues. We coordinate and take part in the duty advisors' scheme at Clerkenwell County Court every Tuesday and some Fridays for any tenant in Islington who is facing possession proceedings by their landlord.
